Today is officially the beginning of my journey. I did the first step toward my departure – materialised in a letter of a few words that I handed to the director of my company – by resigning from my current position.
I have already started filling up the papers in order to get my VIE contract that will allow me to work for a year in Johannesburg. I am looking forward to my departure and crossing my fingers, hoping all the papers – visas, contract… – will be ready in time for the 1st of November.
I am already in touch with some VIE over there, and it seems life over there is good. I am thrilled.
